Introducing 4 Basic Tools that can add the WOW factor to your creations!
- Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine – Stampin’ Up’s die cut machine is very easy to use. The come in a regular size and a mini*. The plates that come with the machine are labeled with a number and directions on what plates need to be use in which circumstances. They also last quite a long time before needing replaced.
- Dies – Quite a few of Stampin’ Up’s stamps sets have coordinating dies. There are also universal dies that you can use for accent pieces or banners. Some of these dies have quite a bit of detail to them & may require the Take Your Pick Tool to remove some of the pieces gently.
- Embossing Folders – There is a multitude of embossing folders that Stampin’ Up carries. They add texture to your cardstock and can totally change the look of your card. Some of the hybrid embossing folders are also meant to cut & emboss at the same time with the coordinating dies.
- Punches – These are a great tool to have to quickly make a die-cut. Some of them coordinate with a stamp set, some with DSP (designer series paper) and some are perfect banners for your sentiments. I have a quick video on punches on my YouTube channel:
