Using the January 2026 Paper Pumpkin kit, I decided to make a card that has a pop-out vase on the inside. I cut up the pink envelope, used the 2nd to largest Perennial Postage die centered over the printed postage for the cover and adhered to the front.

I began by making the vase mechanism:

Lightly score a 2 ¼” x 5″ piece of the back of the envelope at ¾” and 1 ½” long wise (on the wrong side) & 1” from either side short wise (on the right side), trim corner sections on 1 side & middle section on the other side in landscape position

Score ⅜” on one end of a 3 ⅞” x ¾” piece of White Cardstock

Add Tear & Tape to middle tab of envelope piece & adhere to un-scored end of 3 ⅞” x ¾” White Cardstock & then add Tear & Tape to scored end

Keep envelope piece slightly above bottom card edge, fold 3 ⅞” x ¾” Cardstock under and close the card to adhere

Open card, flip mechanism open, add Tear & Tape to both edges of the 2” x ½” Cardstock, adhere to the edge of the envelope piece over the 3 ⅞” x ¾” Cardstock (make sure it moves freely)

Add Tear & Tape to the tabs on the other end, fold under & close card carefully to adhere flat

Attach flowers & leaf stems with Multipurpose Glue then to the middle top of pup-out (see vase below)

Put a piece of Adhesive Sheet on the back of the Gold Foil & die cut “beautiful” from Add-On dies, then adhere to front of card

Make 2 loops with 24″ of Mossy Meadow & Gold Trim & adhere behind large flower, then to front of card with dimensionals
