Welcome to the Team Stamp It New Year’s Blog Hop! I’m so excited to ring in the new year with you and share my festive card!
This card features a mix of Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper, Celebratory Designer Series Paper, Words for the Season stamps & dies, Ornamental Christmas dies, and Cake Day dies by Stampin’ Up!
For this design, I started with Black cardstock and Gold Foil to create a chic, party-ready look. I used the circle die from the Ornamental dies to cut an opening in the front panel. Inside the opening, I adhered the “Happy New Year” sentiment die-cut in Gold Foil onto a 3″ black circle—I love how it shines through and creates a stunning focal point!
When the card is opened, it unfolds into a trifold layout, giving plenty of space for detail and celebration. I fussy cut two wine bottles and two glasses from the DSP to decorate the layers and bring in some midnight sparkle. To finish it off, I added three Gold Foil splotches from the Cake Day dies—perfect for that champagne-bubble energy, don’t you think?
