For my card, I wanted to create something soft, elegant, and full of springtime beauty… and I just couldn’t resist letting florals take center stage 🌼
I used the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper, carefully fussy cutting the images and arranging them into a layered floral focal point. This technique really lets those gorgeous patterns shine and gives the card a lovely dimensional feel.
Behind the florals, I added texture and interest by die cutting with the Beautifully Celebrated Dies and embossing with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. That subtle plaid texture adds just the right amount of depth without taking away from the delicate floral elements.
One of my favorite details? I didn’t let anything go to waste! I saved the outer die-cut frame and incorporated it into the inside of the card, layering it over Basic White cardstock and adding a few more floral accents for a beautifully coordinated finish.
The Florals in Bloom DSP has beautiful images just waiting to be cut out & assembled in clusters!
The sentiment, “Easter Blessings” from the Blessed Beginnings Stamp Set, was stamped in rich Blackberry Bliss Ink and heat embossed with Clear WOW Embossing Powder for a soft, elegant shine ✨
To complete the card, I added a sweet Garden Green & White Chevron Ribbon bow and a few Purple Fine Shimmer Gems for just the right touch of sparkle.
This card is a reminder that sometimes the simplest elements—florals, texture, and a heartfelt sentiment—come together to create something truly special.
