Using the following items from my stash:

  • Hydrangea Hue: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ (scored at 4-1/4″), 3-3/4″ x 1-1/2″, 1″ x 3″ (scored at 3/4″, 1-1/2″, 2-1/4″)
  • White Cardstock (5-1/4″ x 4″)
  • Shimmering Stripes Specialty DSP (5-1/4″ x 4″)
  • Multipurpose Glue
  • Wonderful Scenes Add-On Dies
  • Wink of Stella
  • Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend Marker
  • Stamp, Cut & Emboss Machine

I started the card by running the cut card base piece from the kit through the Stamp, Cut & Emboss Machine with the fireworks Wonderful Scenes Add-On Dies (KEEP THE STARS) 3 times, leaving the top right section untouched. Then I took the “Wonderful” die from the Add-On dies and die cut from a section of the Shimmering Stripes DSP that was not behind one of the fireworks. Wink of Stella was added to the dotted lines of the fireworks for extra sparkle. The piece was then adhered to the front of the Shimmering Stripes Specialty DSP & then the card front (this is a landscape card).

For the inside, I adhered 3 of the stars from the fireworks to the bottom left using the Multipurpose Glue and then adhered that to the bottom inside of the card. Then the 1″ x 3″ (scored at 3/4″, 1-1/2″, 2-1/4″) piece of Hydrangea Hue was adhered with Tear & Tape to the middle inside so that one end was adhered to the bottom section & the other end to the top section. Using the Multipurpose glue, I adhere more stars & the “Wonderful” die-cut to the 3-3/4″ x 1-1/2″ piece of Hydrangea Hue, then centered that piece over the pop-up mechanism & adhered with Tear & Tape. The 2 small fireworks cut outs from the kit were adhered to the inside top with Multipurpose Glue.

For the front banner, I trimmed off 1-1/4″ then stamped “you are” with the Misty Moonlight Ink Spot and added 3 dots with the Night of Navy Dark Stampin’ Blend Marker. The half fireworks were adhered with Multipurpose Glue to the top right section of the front then the stamped banner was adhered with the Mini Dimensionals from the kit.
