The Easter Blog Hop with Team Stamp It comes at a very busy time for me, but I love to participate! For those of you who don’t know, I am a church administrator, so the next 2 weeks are extremely hectic.
I did not get any specific Easter products this year, but it is a very important time of year to celebrate. The products I used can be adapted to any of your card creations because they are so versatile.
The card began with the “HAPPY” from the Wanted to Say dies and evolved from there. To use current products, I added “EASTER” from the letters in the Mini Alphabet dies. Next, the card needed an image of some sort. I settled on the flower dies in the Wanted to Say die set.
The front of the card seemed kind of plain, so I die cut a piece of Lost Lagoon with the largest Deckled Rectangle die but it still need more. Using Pool Party I cut the next size down Deckled Rectangle. Still not happy with the front, I ran the Pool Party piece through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Twisted Rope Embossing Folder.
The card was finished off with a white Deckled Rectangle piece inside with an additional flower from the Wanted to Say dies on it.
Love the flowers on this card.
I like the colors. #stampitcontest
Love your perky little flowers!
So cute! I always forget about using the mini alphabet dies — thanks for the reminder!
