New Year’s is not something I would normally make a card for, so it was a bit tricky. When I think of New Year’s, I think black, silver & gold. The swirls in the Sentimental Swirls stamp set (from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog) remind me of party streamers and I wanted it to be metallic, so I pulled out my Heat Emboss tool, embossing powder & Versa Mark pad. I embossed it on the black cardstock, added a Gold Foil Sheet die cut with the largest frame from the Scalloped Contours Die Set and used Dimensionals to mount it on a black card base. I used the Foam Sheets to stick on a Gold Foil scrap and cut out the cover sentiment with the Playful Alphabet & Word Wishes Dies Sets. I finished the cover with Champagne Rhinestones & Rhinestones Basic Jewels.
For the inside of the card, I used the larges die from the Scalloped Contours Dies Set again and used white cardstock. I added 2 small swirls from the Sentimental Swirls stamp set and a sentiment from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set. The inside needed a little bling, so I added Wink of Stella to the swirls.
