The Fall Theme Blog Hop for Team Stamp It was a bit of a challenge. Other than Fall leaves & trees I was baffled. I love the Cheerful Daisies suite, but I wanted different colors.
One of the fall flowers I am drawn to is Fall Asters & I never get tired of any shade of purple!
I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock and used my blending brush to add Fresh Freesia color to it with a bit of texture. Then I stamped the outline of the leaves in Fresh Freesia on that & cut each flower out with the coordinating dies on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
I used the flower assembly die and cut it out with Lost Lagoon cardstock them mounted the 3 flowers on that. The flower centers were stamped on Daffodil Delight cardstock with Crushed Curry ink the fussy cut them out.
I used a piece of the Fresh Freesia printed DSP from Masterfully Made DSP and a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock with the Countryside Corners dies to mount the assembly on. I added 2 branches with Multipurpose Glue that were cut in Pebble Path cardstock to complete the front assembly and mounted it with Mini Dimensionals. The 2023-2025 In Color dots are actually lighter but photographed darker than they are. ‘Thinking of You’ was stamped on a scrap of Basic White cardstock in Lost Lagoon, fussy cut & adhered to the bottom of the card.
The inside was stamped with the cluster of flowers in Fresh Freesia and the leaves in Lost Lagoon
