Spring Fling Team Stamp It Blog Hop

Spring is a vast area to create a card. There are so many holidays & occasions it could cover. After contemplating what direction to go in, I decided to go for just a general Spring theme. Who isn’t thinking of warmer days, flowers beginning to bloom, bees buzzing around and happiness in the air?

The Honeybee Home bundle seemed to capture the image I was after, but I wanted it to pop. My search engine showed me many ideas and I settled on a pop-up panel card. I made a prototype to test the various instructions and dimensions which helped me design the card immensely.

I searched through the various DSPs I had on hand and ended up picking the Hand-Penned DSP to enhance the images. The final piece to my puzzle was the Beautiful Shapes dies. I tested other shapes, but these dies put through the Stamp’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the Hive 3D Embossing folder just seemed to pull it all together.
